Responsible to the Lead Cook and Production Manager.

DEFINITION OF POSITION
-
The Cooks prepare and cook food for patients, employees, and visitors. Food must be prepared and served at a high quality according to the recipes provided. The Cook must have excellent customer service and be able to multi task. The Cook functions as an active member of the food production team, and must be able to function independently.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional
-
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Must be able to read and write English.

Must have two years significant experience in high volume food production as a cook, preferably in a hotel, country club or restaurant.

Must have or obtain Serv Safe Food Service Managers Certification within 6 months
-
Must have knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations.

Must have the mathematical ability to solve problems.
-
Experience cooking in front of customers preferred.
