Job Description
Performs advanced administrative and supervisory program work for the Master’s in Applied Biomedical Sciences (MABS) program. Provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and student-support leadership to ensure the effective delivery and growth of the program.

This is a full-time, temporary, benefits eligible, grant funded position expected to end on or before 10/31/2029. Continuation of this position is contingent upon continued funding.

Educational and Experience Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences, education, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field, Master’s degree preferred. Five years of experience in academic program coordination, student services, or higher‑education administration. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

Primary Responsibilities

Oversees the daily administrative operations, including the program website, schedules, events, and handbooks for the Master’s in Applied Biomedical Sciences (MABS) program  Serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and current students, providing guidance on program requirements, tracking academic progress, coordinating onboarding and professional development activities, and maintaining FERPA-compliant records. Coordinates marketing, recruitment, and admissions workflows by liaising with committees and contributing to outreach and promotional materials. Develops and leverages community partnerships to establish internship and research placements, ensuring required documentation and compliance standards are met. Collects, analyzes, and reports program data for institutional reporting, federal agencies, accreditation processes, and continuous program improvement. Oversees budget monitoring, purchasing, reimbursements, and vendor coordination. Maintains strong communication channels to keep faculty, staff, students, and external partners informed through effective program communications and visibility efforts. Performs other related duties as assigned.
