Job Skills / Requirements

•  Looking for a Flex Officer (Uniformed - Unarmed) who can provide flexibility and cover any shift when needed. Shift preferences are considered.
• Minimum 16hrs/week guaranteed with opportunities to take on additional hours weekly.
• Drivers License & Clean Motor Vehicle Record required.
• Must be comfortable standing & walking for extended periods of time, officers can walk up to 8-10 miles per day.
• Flex Officers will cover any PTO requests, Military Leave, Medical Leave, and any other open shifts and last minute call offs available. 
• Flex Officers are the first officers we ask to fill in for Full Time job opportunities when positions become available.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

1. Perform a variety of routine and non-routine security and receptionist duties associated with access control, CCTV, door alarm and event monitoring using established policies and procedures. Maintain civil order, especially during facility emergency conditions. 

2. Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. 

3. Report writing and site patrol duties. 

4. Lost and found duties and other back security duties, as required, or specified from time to time. 5. Immediately report all security and health and safety threats identified during all patrols. 

6. Ensure a detailed knowledge and understanding of all summary Post Orders and Site Operating Procedures. 

7. Compliance of all relevant company policies and procedures. 

8. Provide support and coverage for access control badges and individual authorized access in accordance with policy. 

9. Key issuance/control. 

10. Assist with daily MOP’s (Method of Procedure) and coordinating with supervised escorts ensuring visitor, employee, contractor, and vendor access compliance. 

  

 Special skills and attributes include: 

1. Security or customer service background required.

2. Excellent communication skills, with a courteous and professional manner. 

3. Familiarity and knowledge of MS Office products. 

4. Excellent observational and multi-tasking abilities    

5. CPR & Unarmed Guard Card certification required upon hire
