This position is responsible for being a part of a team that Provides Excellent Customer Service while engaging with walk-In customers, taking customer orders over the phone or through email, looking up parts and supplies and quoting/invoicing orders. At times this position is responsible for assisting with other duties such as data entry, warranty support and shipping/receiving or related warehouse duties.
How you will do it
Communicate daily with customers via e-mail, phone & face-to-face interaction.
Enter customer orders promptly with high accuracy.
Promote and support sales promotions.
Collaborate with regional sales force and other field staff to deliver premier customer service.
Research and resolve customer issues by providing unique solutions and opportunities as well as providing customer assistance in locating and identifying replacement parts.
Provide same day responses to scheduled dates and backorder status of product.
Research and process credit and return requests.
Performs daily maintenance to customer orders to ensure timely delivery based on customer demand.
Support customers in processing warranty paperwork.
Work closely with other vital departments such as credit, billing, shipping, purchasing, technical service, marketing, etc.
Assist in warehouse when needed for shipping & receiving when volume is high.
Other tasks may be assigned by management.
What we look for
Required Qualification:
High School diploma or equivalent combined education and experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
Able to Multi-task effectively while prioritizing daily workflow
Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software.
Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.
Strong conflict resolution skills.
Regular Attendance & Punctuality are vital to succeed.
Be willing to become forklift certified.
Additional Information:
Preferred Skills:
5+ years in customer service.
HVAC knowledge a plus.
Forklift experience a plus (Will Train)
