Job Summary:  



Operates Overhead Traveling Crane to transport lifts to and from common carriers and storage areas.



 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  



Checks all equipment before start of shift.



Operates crane to transport lifts to and from common carriers and storage areas.



Operates up under to position coils.



Engages with dispatcher to locate and mark coils for proper identification with tags, stickers, stencils, etc.



Engages with dispatcher to operate job hoist to separate and hand coils.



Daily checks and reports conditions of crane to Foreman.



Uses broom, shovel, rags, etc. to keep equipment and storage area clean and orderly.
