You Can Expect
· 13 shifts per month with opportunities to pick up additional shifts

· Opportunity to work closely with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
What You’ll Do
· Round on critically ill patients in the ICU
· Perform admissions and consultations
· Manage medications and treatment plans
Perform procedures including:
- Central line placement
- Arterial line placement
- Intubation
- Chest tube placement
- Thoracentesis
- Lumbar puncture
- Bronchoscopy
- Paracentesis

Qualifications
Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, and Masters of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN)
Required Certifications and Licensures: Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority. Maintains BLS and ACLS Certifications. Hold a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or hold a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse. Nationally recognized certification in field of specialization
