JOB PURPOSE
The Custodial Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the production floor, surrounding areas, and facility grounds. This role ensures a safe, clean, and efficient working environment by supporting daily housekeeping and waste management tasks.
STRUCTURE
- Reports directly to the Team Lead and People & Manufacturing Operations Specialist
- Works closely with production teams across all lines
- Supports overall facility cleanliness and safety standards
- Follows established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
RESPONSIBILITY
- Pick up trash daily across all production lines
- Sweep and clean production floors, including sewing areas
- Collect and transport trash to designated dumpsters
- Break down and fold cardboard, placing it in the appropriate recycling containers
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including garden spaces and parking lots
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and hazard-free
- Follow all safety procedures and facility guidelines
- Communicate effectively with employees across departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
