What You’ll Do:
At Casa Bonita, every team member plays a vital role in creating memorable dining and entertainment experiences for our guests. The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Follow established steps of service to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment
- Able to work independently while maintaining clear communication and collaborating effectively with team members
- Welcome and engage with all guests to create a memorable experience
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and comply with all company policies and safety regulations
- Regularly clean and sanitize tables, chairs, bar areas, and high-touch surfaces
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum dining areas, hallways, and performance spaces throughout the shift
- Dispose of trash and empty trash receptacles
- Service restrooms, including cleaning and restocking supplies
- Respond to custodian requests, including cleaning up Biohazards
- Document any maintenance issues, deep cleaning needs, or supply shortages for management
- Maintain and clean housekeeping equipment accurately
- Secure cleaning equipment and storage areas before leaving
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by the Director of Facilities based on business needs
Qualifications/Skills:
- 18+ years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Comfortable engaging with the public
- Passionate about serving others
- Able to communicate in English effectively during guest interactions
- Bloodborne Pathogens training is required
- Must have reliable form of transportation and be able to work flexible shifts, inclusive of weekends, days, late nights, and holidays
Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish
Physical & Environmental Demands:
- Able to distinguish colors and have close and distant vision
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Able to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills
- Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout shifts
- Able to use stairs and walk inclines/declines
- Able to stand for extended periods and walk briskly throughout the shift
- Able to walk up inclines and stairs, and down declines multiple times during a shift
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and varying temperatures
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Comfortable working in loud, distracting environments
- Able to multitask and work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and composure in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue under pressure
