Siemens Smart Infrastructure, Electrification & Automation (EA) business unit is headquartered in Wendell, NC. The EA Business Unit has a diverse portfolio of products, including, but not limited to, low-voltage MCC, CMR fuse saver, MV switchgear, MV circuit breakers, and metering, power monitoring, power quality, and protective relay maintenance and systems of a standard nature.

We are looking for a CEC Receptionist. This position is located in our Wendell, NC headquarters.

Overview:

We are seeking a Customer Experience Center (CEC) Receptionist to support our Wendell site.

The Customer Experience Center (CEC) at our Wendell site is a high-impact, shared environment used for customer meetings, training, and large team engagements. It supports interactions that require planning, coordination, and a professional experience, including technology setup, catering, and visitor management. The space is fast-paced and serves both internal teams and external customers, requiring clear communication and strong day-to-day coordination to keep operations running smoothly

This role is a key part of day-to-day operations in the CEC. The receptionist will regularly interact with visitors, employees, and customers, helping ensure the space runs smoothly and maintains a professional, organized experience. This is a high-traffic, high-demand environment where strong communication, presence, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Welcoming:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, providing a professional and welcoming experience upon arrival.
  • CEC Space Management:
    Actively manage the use of the CEC, including meeting rooms and shared spaces. Set clear expectations when space is limited and ensure rooms are used appropriately.
  • Customer Service:
    Provide timely and professional support in person, over email, chat, and phone.
  • Daily Coordination:
    Work with meeting owners and internal teams to support day-to-day operations, including room setup, scheduling conflicts, and space availability.
  • Reception Management:
    Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked reception and CEC area, including beverages, snacks, and materials.
  • Office Operations:
    Support general office needs such as maintenance requests, catering coordination, and meeting logistics.
  • Visitor Flow and Access:
    Manage visitor check-in and check-out while ensuring all site security and access procedures are followed.
  • Problem Solving:
    Identify issues early and take action to resolve them, particularly related to space conflicts or operational gaps.
  • Communication and Accountability:
    Communicate clearly and confidently with employees and guests, including reinforcing proper use of the space when needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar position and an Associate's degree, or at least 5 years experience in a similar position and a HS diploma.

The pay range for this position is $40,555 - $69,523 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
