Job Summary

 

Looking for a fun, creative, fast-paced environment? Blue Dolphin Screenprint and Embroidery needs a Jack- or Jill-of-All-Trades to help customers turn their ideas and logos into branded apparel and promotional products. Applicant will find themselves bridging the gap between customers and production staff, handling order pick-ups, sharing creative concepts, and taking office calls. Applicant must be flexible on a day-to-day basis: able to assist the sales department one day and the front office the next. If you’re looking to learn how to run an online apparel store, create custom mailers, or find the perfect Pantone for the next rising super star, then this might be the place for you.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Talks with customers by phone or in person about customer requirements and collects production specifications for customer order.
  • Inputs all customer order information into company software system. (Shopworks)
  • Coordinates with the sales department to prepare written quotes and proposals.
  • Monitors daily production schedule for schedule deviations and notifies customers on an exception basis.
  • Handles phone inquiries for job status, orders, changes, and complaints.
  • Keeps salesperson informed about job status and problems.
  • Provides customer with shipment confirmation.
  • Answer Phones
  • Some clerical and filing work.
  • Handle customer pickups.

 

Job Requirements & Attributes

 

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in M/S Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator & Infusionsoft is helpful.
  • Must be self-starter and handle a variety of tasks.
  • Must work with minimum supervision and have a high capacity to make decisions.
  • Must be punctual, dependable and organized.
