Position Summary and Responsibilities: This position is responsible for coordinating the orders, inventory, and logistics between KVPC Manufacturing and distribution centers.
- Serve as primary liaison between KVPC Manufacturing and distribution centers to ensure accurate order processing.
- Ensure the efficient coordination of all customer orders with KVPC’s production and operation management teams.
- Facilitate all communication concerning active purchase orders between our customers and KVPC production and operation management teams.
- Manage product purchase order process, including employee orders.
- Set up and submit all new item requests to BEK General Office for generation of a Ben E. Keith item number.
- Assist in answering questions concerning product pricing and availability.
- Follow up on claims of shortages, damages, and overages with common carriers and vendors and file that information for future retrieval.
- Facilitate and manage FedEx shipments.
- Set up codes and item numbers in the manufacturing ERP software.
- Communicate and work with distribution centers on holiday schedule for product shipments.
- Run and distribute the daily production history report.
- Develop and maintain a high level of product, customer, and supplier knowledge.
- Generate weekly USDA tonnage report.
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned

- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Two-year associates degree from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
