Job Overview

Our office is quickly growing and we need someone who we can train to fit in our office puzzle! The position offered is full time. Our Customer Service Representative needs to exceed customer service standards to current clients while also assisting prospects as they call in

Requirements


SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:


High school diploma/GED required

Prior experience in a customer facing role required

Prior experience in insurance preferred

Ability to multi-task

Ability to prioritize high volume of workload

Ability to remain professional and courteous with clients at all times

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Skilled in working collaboratively with a team in a professional manner on a daily basis

Active Property and Casualty Insurance license preferred, or the ability to obtain within 30 days if not already licensed

Responsibilities

Field incoming calls in accordance with quality standards to provide information to agents/ insured about the status of a policy or any other question they may have.


Place outgoing calls to provide or obtain information.


Document all calls while in progress using the online documentation program.


Transfer or refer misdirected calls to the appropriate individual, department or offices outside the company, using approved transfer and referral techniques.


Process customer requests using internal and client-mandated procedures.


Produce correspondence to customers using approved letters. Fully document policy file or image system with all related material to leave a clear and concise audit trail.


Efficiently process the Bank Changes, Cancel NR, Death NR, Address Changes and ID Cards

Communicate openly with Supervisor and other team members to ensure accurate responses and to avoid duplication of efforts.
