Job Description

Keystone Sheets, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, and corrugated manufacturing industry leader currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Customer Service Representative in Chambersburg, PA! The Customer Service Representative builds long-term relationships with the customers by providing product and service information and by resolving product and service issues in a timely manner. This position will work closely with the sales, accounting, CSR’s and manufacturing personnel to meet the customer’s needs.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee assigned customer accounts and respond to emails in a timely manner (within 1 hour).
  • Responsible for processing orders (electronic and manual), receive, change or cancel customer purchase orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain customer records by updating account information as needed.
  • Serves as the primary liaison with sales, logistics/supply chain, and manufacturing personnel on the effective delivery of customer service.
  • Handle complaints in a constructive and professional manner through effective problem resolution skills.
  • Work with Plant manager / Manufacturing manager on credit memos, returns, and price deviations; Report feedback and/or corrective action back to customer, with manager’s approval.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy must be exercised due to the complexity of product codes and customer specifications.
  • Communicate professionally with all levels of personnel (customers, managers, staff, etc.) always.
  • Develop strong, internal working relations with the production team and shipping to support and promote efficient, timely, and accurate responses to customer’s expectations.
  • Provide shipping and production team with sufficient corrugator lineup information to maximize corrugator capacity and functionality.
  • Run daily production reports.
  • Monitor on-hand inventory, all upgrades, and side trims.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize work effectively and work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and a demanding customer base.
  • Must be able to make appropriate decisions to satisfy customer needs and take appropriate steps to implement decisions with approval of management.
  • Works under minimum supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.


Required Education & Experience:

  • High school education.


Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Knowledge of the corrugated/manufacturing industry process preferred.


Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to resolve customer concerns diplomatically and in a timely manner.
  • Possess a high degree of accuracy and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office.
  • Excellent time management skills and well-organized.
  • Ability to sit, stand, grasp, reach, push, twist, climb, bend, use of keyboard and 10-key, lift at least 50 lbs. occasionally, as required by the job.
