We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and community-minded Teller to join our local branch team. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, helping with daily financial transactions while building trusted relationships through personalized service, accuracy, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and check cashing.
- Balance and maintain cash drawer in accordance with branch procedures and security expectations.
- Provide warm, personalized service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with routine account needs.
- Build strong customer relationships by recognizing needs and referring appropriate products or services to branch team members when beneficial.
- Assist customers with debit card questions, online banking basics, and other everyday service requests.
- Follow all bank policies, security procedures, confidentiality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support branch operations, including opening and closing duties, maintaining work areas, and helping create a welcoming environment.
- Represent the bank in a professional manner and support the branch’s commitment to serving the local community.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service, cash handling, retail, or banking experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in handling financial transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and contribute to a relationship-focused branch culture.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn banking systems and branch procedures.
