In addition to providing outstanding customer service, the Operations team member will be the subject matter expert for bank cash levels, statement and notice processing, check program, and safe deposit box billing.

Requirements

 

Customer Support Specific Duties/Responsibilities

 

Customer transaction processing

  • Deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, official checks, bond redemption, change orders, etc.
  • Complete Reg CC Holds, CTR and SARs as needed
  • Buy and selling cash between tellers, TCR and vaults
  • Process night drop and mail
  • Daily balancing of drawers, TCRs, coin machine and vault
  • Maintain equipment as needed

Phone, Conversations and Email

  • Answer incoming phone calls, answer questions, resolve issues or direct to another employee in a friendly manner
  • Monitor internet conversations and respond in timely, professional manner
  • Monitor and respond to all incoming service emails

Complete customer requests

  • Moving funds via telephone
  • Loan advance requests sent to loan officer and support team
  • Collect information for address changes
  • Provide wire transfer information for incoming wire requests
  • Collect stop payment information

Check orders

  • Collect and verify address information
  • Process check order requests

 

Operational Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Monitor cash levels in vault and TCRs for the branch to have adequate funds
  • Perform shipment ordering and selling procedures as needed
  • Conduct closed account letter processing
  • Levy and Garnishments processing and monitoring
  • Complete credit references as requested
  • Daily balancing
    • Balance Teller Cash Clearing
    • Balancing Currency & Coin
    • Balancing Teller Over/Shorts and reporting
    • Balance Official Check Account
    • Reconcile other accounts as needed
  • Daily Review: Review checks for fraud
  • Process Address Changes
  • Stop Payments
  • Receive information, complete forms and key stop payments for checks and ACH
  • Monitor forms and expirations dates

 

Check Program Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Complete check orders
  • Review all check orders for accuracy
  • Enhance check program for pricing, education and customer needs

 

Statements, Notices, and Mailing Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Perform duties related to statements and notices
    • Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly Statement printing
      • Transaction accounts, CD statements, First Reserve Statements
    • Special Statement printing
    • Daily notices
      • Ready Reserve, Overdraft, Transfers, Late notices
      • Electronic notices
      • Pre-notes
    • Returned statements
    • Coordinate year-end statement printing
  • eStatements
    • Setup or removal of eStatements for customers including multiple users
    • Verify eStatements were sent on scheduled days
    • Add eStatement messages and statement stuffers as needed
  • Mail
    • Daily mail sort and monitoring
    • Complete requested mailings by other departments (Plainview Bankshares)
    • Mail merge and label creations
    • Coordinate statement stuffers as needed
    • FedEx/UPS documents and pickup scheduling

 

Safe Deposit Box Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Perform duties relating to Safe Deposit Boxes
  • Complete billing process for all Safe Boxes
  • Record and monitor delinquent box rent
  • Issue new keys and drillings as needed
  • Process unclaimed property
  • Audit access cards

 

ATM Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Monitor ATM activity and deposits
  • Maintain cash levels and balance
  • Troubleshoot any issues or maintenance

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

 

None

 

Required Skills/Abilities

 

  • High school diploma (required)
  • Post-secondary education in finance, information technology, or another business-related field (preferred)
  • Experience providing excellent customer service
  • Experience handling transactions in an efficient, accurate, and friendly manner
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows products, particularly Excel
  • Strong ability to learn new computer systems
  • Attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills, including spoken and written language skills 

 

Accountability

 

This position reports to Claire Speedling, Vice President.

 

Summary

Working Conditions

The team member will work primarily at Foresight Bank’s Plainview location, varying shifts between 7:15 AM and 6:15 PM, Monday through Friday and 8:45 AM to noon on a rotating Saturday schedule. This schedule is subject to change based on Foresight’s business needs. Unscheduled evening and weekend work may be needed to meet the needs of customers and employees.

 

Work is performed largely within the bank with limited chance for personal injury.  Prolonged and frequent mental and visual concentration is required. The position involves the potential for periodic stressful situations in response to multiple priorities within established deadlines. The position involves lifting and moving up to 20 pounds of office supplies and equipment, and it involves some bending, turning, and twisting.

 

Compensation

Foresight Bank provides a competitive pay and benefits package.

  • Salary Range: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour. The position also includes a bonus plan once the training period is completed.
  • Benefits: This position is eligible to participate in Foresight’s benefits plan, which includes medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, pre-tax savings plans (health savings accounts and flexible spending accounts for eligible expenses), and retirement plans (including a 401(k) plan with an employer match).
