As a Data Analyst, Distribution and Transportation, you play a pivotal role in our team by leveraging DC operations data and metrics, such as time series analysis, to review operations, pinpoint recurring obstacles, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. In this role, you will actively collect and assess data from a range of DC operations to offer valuable insights to enhance operational effectiveness and support. You will also conduct ad hoc analyses for different departments to improve their operations. You will work with a team of DC Managers and Department Leaders to ensure D&T operations targets are met. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Build reporting and analytics to support DC operations while providing recommendations to improve the process.
  • Ensure stored data is organized and easily accessible to internal and external teams.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for information over the DCs and other department in a timely manner.
  • Provide data to allow people leaders to conduct constant follow-ups and check-ins with direct reports to ensure business and performance are on track.
  • Work closely with leadership teams to create data strategies that support data modeling.
  • Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) for all DC operations and maintain productivity tracking; maintain, produce, and analyze reports in support of key operational metrics.
  • Build and maintain weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for DC operations that will be presented to Senior Leaders.
  • Use data analysis to resolve delivery issues and identify process bottlenecks, suggesting data-driven solutions for improvement.
  • Review current operations for DC operations and align all parties when there is an update to ensure process are standard.
  • Lead strategic projects and assignments as required, under the direction of Director of Distribution and Transportation.

  • Facilitating communication with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure cohesive collaboration.
  • Identifying areas for improvement in data processes and governance, working closely with D&T leaders to drive or support enhancements within relevant teams.
  • Enhancing usability, functionality, and efficiency by optimizing existing tools and developing new ones.

This role requires 5+ years professional experience in a data analysis role in a distribution or frontline operations environment.  A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field experience; equivalent work experience in lieu of degree may be considered. Other qualifications include:

 

  • You have 5+ years of professional experience in a data analysis role in a distribution or frontline operations environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field experience.
  • Proven track record of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from DC operations and analytics data sets.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Previous experience or knowledge in inbound/outbound deliveries and transportations.
  • Proficient in operating our ERP systems (SAP S4 Hanna / ECC / EWM)
  • Used and are familiar with data visualizations solutions such as Power BI
  • Data-driven mindset and are comfortable working with complex datasets.
  • Experience working with cross functional collaborators.
  • Committed to ongoing learning and development and stay up to date with new technologies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and excel skills in MS Excel.
  • Willing to share your knowledge and train other team members.
  • Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
