Job Description

Whova is looking for a full-time Data Analyst to join our team! Here, you will play a crucial role in improving and optimizing our product by gathering key insights about how our users interact with our platform and understanding what their primary needs and pain points are. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging data analysis techniques to help guide product decisions.

Whova revolutionizes event engagement and attendee networking by providing the Whova mobile app and event management software for conferences and trade shows globally every day.

Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct studies on product features to understand how users engage with them
  • Analyze large quantities of user data (both structured and unstructured) and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Synthesize findings into clear visualizations and concise reports to present to stakeholders
  • Provide actionable insights that can help inform product decisions, and work closely with data and product teams to identify opportunities for new features and/or enhancements
Requirements
  • BS or MS in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or related fields
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, Excel, and data visualization libraries (e.g. matplotlib, plotly, etc.)
  • A curious and detail-oriented mindset that’s excited to explore various aspects of product usage and uncover valuable insights
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working closely with engineering and product management teams is a plus
