The Opportunity

This unpaid SkillBridge training opportunity is designed to provide transitioning active-duty service members with hands-on, mission-focused experience as they complete their final phase of military service. The program is 26 weeks in duration and offers practical exposure to real-world data and technology operations in a government-adjacent environment. This is a hybrid position located at or near MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL.

 

The Data Integrity Analyst SkillBridge participant will be responsible for analyzing commercially available information and delivering assessments to aid in procurement. In this role, you will ensure all data analysis (scheduled or ad hoc) is accurate, consistent, and performed in a timely manner. Additionally, you will utilize various analytical approaches and metrics strategies to uncover emerging insights and formulate recommendations that support team productivity. Successful candidates must be able to prioritize and manage multiple duties with frequent interruptions and meet strict deadlines.

 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Evaluate and validate commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) tools against customer requirements, ensuring capability alignment and operational relevance
  • Monitor inbound data streams for new elements and validate through rigorous testing
  • Analyze data sources for accuracy and relevance, ensuring high-quality input for analysis and reporting
  • Implement maintenance activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Eagerness to learn and utilize new, emerging tools at a rapid pace
  • Participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation, ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones
  • Communicate key metrics and trends to support informed procurement
  • Deliver senior executive level briefings and collaborate with stakeholders and vendors
  • Participate in vendor engagements, demonstrations, and capability briefings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to alignment across operational efforts
  • Assist in the program training coordination and facilitation

Requirements

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Must have active Secret or higher Security clearance with the U.S. Government
  • Must be an active-duty service member approved to participate in the DoW SkillBridge program

 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Required Skills, Experience & Abilities 

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting analytical processes
  • 3-5 years of experience successfully supporting complex projects
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively conveying complex information to various stakeholders
  • Knowledge of open-source research methodologies, including source evaluation, data verification, and responsible use of publicly available information
  • Strong communication, presentation, and team building skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) or publicly available information (PAI) research through coursework, internships, or professional experience.
  • Basic experience using data visualization or analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms).
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in austere field conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion (e.g., transporting laptop, presentation materials, or small equipment).
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
  • Clear vision and hearing required for meetings, presentations, and communication.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Professional office environment with standard office equipment (computers, phones, printers).
  • Frequent interaction with clients, executives, and government officials in both in-person and virtual settings.
  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring adaptability and responsiveness.
  • Work may occasionally be performed in secure government facilities, requiring adherence to security protocols.
