Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Daytime Housekeeping Attendant to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our Pool & Athletics Center. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for members and guests by ensuring all facilities remain clean, sanitized, and well-stocked throughout the day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, showers, fitness areas, pool decks, and common areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of fitness equipment, and recreational spaces.
  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners as needed.
  • Restock supplies including towels, soap, paper products, and cleaning materials.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform general housekeeping duties throughout the facility.
  • Monitor facility conditions and promptly address spills, hazards, and cleanliness concerns.
  • Maintain pool deck cleanliness and assist in keeping outdoor areas presentable.
  • Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety concerns to management.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to members, guests, and staff.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects and facility events as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping, custodial, hotel, fitness center, or recreational facility cleaning experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with members and guests.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including poolside conditions.
