To help aid in the creation of this new casino culture, Parkwest Bicycle Casino is looking to hire California Games Card Dealers.  If you're the best at what you do and enjoy providing superior service in an exciting atmosphere we would love to meet you!

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to deal 21st Century Blackjack, Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Pan 9, Three Card Poker, Crazy 4 Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold'Em.
• Scrambles, shuffles, and deals cards.
• Collects Casino's revenues'.
• Supervises the betting action and enforces Hotel & Casino rules.
• Assists players in the reading of hands and payoffs of the winning hands.
• Controls player disputes.
• Provides game instruction to new players.
• Follows instructions as given by the immediate supervisor.
• Follows tip contribution policy set by the house.
• Must be available to work ALL shifts available.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to concentrate in an intense, fast paced environment with numerous distractions.
• Displays working knowledge of Title 31 regulations.
• Other job related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass mandatory screening which may include a background and credit check, and drug test.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment team member permit, badge or license.
• Able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and co-workers.
• Able to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Available for full time work which may include weekends and evening scheduling; and ready for all programs and activities. Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
• Able to converse in English.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to work within a team environment.
• Must be 21 years of age. 

Education: High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent. Associate’s degree or dealer school diploma preferred.

Experience: 1 year experience as a dealer is required in a comparable casino, or completion of dealer’s school.

 

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to walk, stand, sit and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.
• Position will require repetitive use of hands for the following actions; simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift.
• Position may require exposure to excessive noise.
• Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
