Job Description

DEDUCTION RESOLUTION SPECIALIST - FOODSERVICE - CORPORATE OFFICE (AUSTIN OR WILLMAR, MN)

This position reports to Kyrie Schmidtke (Austin) – Supervisors of Support Services - Foodservice.

Relocation is not eligible for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the overall process efficiencies of the total suspense dollars, promotional activity, audit resolution individually and within a team.
  • Works directly with external customers and sales staff to investigate deductions, determine their validity, enter and process resolution through a billback plus perform collection of repayments, if invalid.
  • Uses time management skills to code deductions, submit backup, and identify new trends for assigned customers.
  • Successfully completes daily and weekly checklist and ask what else I can do.
  • Processes billing claims using the Forge application.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Post high school accounting classes or the equivalent in experience.
  • A pattern of initiative.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Windows environment including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated use of strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.

Preferred

  • Experience with Oracle Financials, HDS, High Radius, and Forge system.
  • Ability to learn other computer applications.
