Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our warehouse team. This position plays a key role in delivering cabinetry, vanities, and related materials safely and efficiently to residential job sites, commercial projects, and company locations using a 26ft box truck.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, customer-service oriented, and willing to assist with warehouse operations when deliveries are complete.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26ft box truck for scheduled local and regional deliveries
• Load, unload, secure, and protect products to prevent damage during transport
• Verify orders and delivery documentation for accuracy
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain truck cleanliness
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, installers, and internal team members
• Assist warehouse personnel with staging, receiving, inventory movement, and general warehouse duties as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures, DOT regulations, and traffic laws
• Report delivery issues, damages, or vehicle maintenance concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Experience operating a 26ft box truck required
• DOT Medical Card preferred or ability to obtain
• Experience handling cabinetry or building materials preferred
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials on a regular basis
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
