We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to partner with our Baltimore, MD location. 



Success as an ADI Delivery Driver is being able to achieve the following expectations:



 



Primary Responsibilities




  • Responsible for operating a box truck with a liftgate for daily deliveries on a dedicated local route on behalf of your employer 

  • Potential of interstate travel

  • Ability to hand-load and unload delivery items accurately to match the invoice

  • Operating handling equipment according to company safety regulations

  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of your company-owned vehicle

Physical Requirements:




  • Ability to lift /carry up to 70 lbs. at a time without the use of material handling equipment

  • Frequently in and out of the vehicle and frequently driving off-site

  • Frequently required to walk; regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

  • Frequently required to sit; occasionally required to stand and climb or balance



 



Education required for this role:




  • Previous delivery experience preferred

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred



 



Additional Requirements:




  • Valid driver’s license, DOT Medical Card required

  • Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a “Driver” as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy

  • Acceptable driving record (Adrian Steel authorized)



 



Wages:




  • $20.00 to $25.00 an hour, based on experience
