Small Format Delivery Driver

Job Overview

The Small Format Delivery Drivers is a fast-paced position responsible for the daily duties of route delivery and merchandising including stocking shelves, displays, and in coolers on their assigned routes.

Schedule: 

Normal Schedule: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday; 100 days of summer Monday-Friday; start time between 4:30 and 6:30 AM

Responsibilities   

• Ensure all shelves and cold equipment are properly filled and merchandised to MBG Standards
• Execute and maintain Customer Development Agreements 
• Execute MBG promotional calendars 
• Maintain Customer Service Expectations in our marketplace 
• Keep back room inventory neat and organized 
• Ensure Product Rotation minimizing OOD products 
• Display Point of Sale Specific to Brands/Packages 
• Operate all company vehicles in a safe manner and to DOT regulations 
• Adhere to company policies in handling cash/checks   

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

• Class A CDL License and all appropriate endorsements 
• Must be able to lift 60-70 lbs. and push or pull up to 1000 lbs. on a regular basis
• Good communication skills and ability to process change.
• Ability to perform many tasks at the same time.
• Understand basic accounting principles
• Working knowledge of inventory control and warehousing procedures
• Ability to manage an inventory system
• Ability to comprehend policies & procedures
• Maintain acceptable driving record
