Propane Energy Partners is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Propane Delivery Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in delivering essential energy services to our customers while representing our commitment to safety, reliability, and exceptional service.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck and deliver propane to residential and commercial customers
- Transfer propane from truck to customer tanks following all safety procedures
- Perform routine inspections and minor repairs on propane equipment (leak tests, appliances, etc.)
- Assist with tank installations and service work as needed
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of plant facilities and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service with a professional and respectful attitude
- Accurately complete delivery tickets, logs, and required documentation
- Follow all company safety policies and report incidents promptly
- Participate in required training and certification programs
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience with a clean driving record
- Valid CDL Class B license with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements(or willingness to get)
- Ability to meet all DOT requirements (physical, drug screen, road test)
- Basic computer skills for customer and delivery systems
- Mechanical aptitude for minor equipment repairs
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and holidays
