Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and caring experience Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The Dental Assistant will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists and hygienists, ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic, and delivering exceptional patient experiences. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to patient care. 

 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures, managing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort
  • Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment
  • X-Ray Imaging: Capture dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols
  • Patient Education: Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options
  • Records Management: Accurately update patient records and dental charts in EHR systems
  • Infection Control: Strictly follow sterilization and disinfection protocols
  • Appointment Scheduling: Help manage and confirm patient appointments
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support

 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Dental Assistant certification.  
  • X-ray certification  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in dental procedures and instrument handling
  • Thorough understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
  • A compassionate approach to patient care and comfort
