Your Role: As a Dental Assistant at the Good Shepherd, you will be an integral part of our patient care team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Exceptional Customer Service: Greet patients, address concerns, and guide them between waiting rooms and operatories.
  • Patient Care within Scope of Practice: Take and develop dental x-rays, tend to patient needs, assist the dentist during procedures, and update patient records including medications and medical history.
  • Operatory / Treatment Preparation: Sanitize and prepare operatories between patient encounters and set up instruments and equipment for treatments.
  • Sterilization / Instrument Care Management: Sanitize and sterilize equipment and instruments as appropriate.
  • EHR Documentation: Accurately document patient information and procedures in electronic health records.
What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Registered Dental Assistant license in the State of Oklahoma.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral.

Compensation: $17.00 - $28.00 per hour
