Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare services to patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and excellent communication skills.


Responsibilities:

1. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.

2. Sterilize dental instruments and equipment.

3. Assist dentists during dental procedures.

4. Take and develop dental x-rays.

5. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.

6. Keep patient records up to date.

7. Schedule patient appointments.

8. Maintain inventory of dental supplies.


Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Completion of a dental assisting program is preferred.

3. X-ray certification is required.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work well in a team environment.

6. Detail-oriented and organized.

7. Prior experience in a dental office is a plus.

8. CPR certification is a plus.
