Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are properly stocked and sanitized
  • Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures
  • Take and process dental X-rays
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
  • Record patient treatment information and update charts
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
  • Take impressions, scans, and photographs as directed
  • Assist with scheduling and patient flow as needed
  • Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies need to be reordered
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive patient experience

Qualifications

  • Dental Assistant certification (if required by state)
  • Ideal certifications: Coronal Polishing, N2O, and Radiology
  • Current CPR certification preferred
  • 1+ years of hands-on dental assisting experience is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
  • Experience with Dentrix is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance
