We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, take dental radiographs, and provide excellent patient care while maintaining compliance with office and safety protocols. The hours for this position will fluctuate on a rotating schedule. One week the Dental Assistant will work Monday and Tuesday, and the following week will work Wednesday and Thursday.
Job Duties:
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Take and process dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR certification required
- Previous dental assisting experience required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
