About the Role
Children & Family Dentistry & Braces of Hartford is looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dental assistant seeking stability, strong leadership, and a positive work environment focused on high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures, including orthodontic and general dentistry
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterilization standards
- Take digital X-rays and assist with charting
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
- Support efficient patient flow and teamwork within the clinic
- Maintain supplies and assist with daily clinical operations
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience preferred (orthodontic experience a plus, not required)
- X-ray certification preferred
- Strong chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, professional, and team-focused attitude

Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Licensed Dental Assistant (DA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) required or preferred per state guidelines
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Orthodontic experience is a plus but not required
- X-ray certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and excellent chairside manner
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
