Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides healthcare services to some of the area’s most vulnerable populations.
With the opportunity of growth expansion of dental services at the Health Clinic at Springfield High School in August of this year, the organization is looking for a Dental Assistant to join the Dental Team. Individuals will be responsible for assisting the Dental Practice Manager and Pediatric Dentist in the care and treatment of the patients. Perform duties independently and other duties according to certification authorization.

Position Info:
Position Title: Dental Assistant.
Primary Service Center: Springfield, Ohio located in the Health Clinic at Springfield High School.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt – Hourly position. Hourly rate range is $17.00/hour to $24.00/hour depending on experience.
Work Hours: Monday & Wednesday 9:00AM to 5:00PM – Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7:30AM to 3:00PM.
Education Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED and successful completion of ADA and/or OH DAII program preferred.
- Previous dental assisting experience and X-ray certification preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain good working relationships with co-workers and patients.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Bi-lingual language capability is a plus.
