Job Description

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:45 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming and positive experience for patients by helping them feel comfortable and informed throughout their dental visit  

  • Assist the General Dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative treatment, crown and bridge work, fillings, extractions, root canals, hygiene support, and other general dental treatments  

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials to ensure appointments run efficiently and on schedule  

  • Take diagnostic records, including digital x-rays, intraoral photos, scans, and impressions as needed  

  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive dental health to support positive outcomes  

  • Monitor patient flow and work closely with the clinical team to maintain an efficient schedule and minimize wait times  

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and update patient records as needed  

  • Follow all infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment  

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment area  

  • Collaborate closely with the dental team to support exceptional patient care and day-to-day office operations  

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
