We are a friendly, patient-focused dental practice located in the heart of Centreville, VA. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. We’re looking for a dependable and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team and help us deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, extractions, etc.)
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Record and update patient information and treatment notes in the practice management software
• Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions and ensure they feel comfortable and informed
• Maintain dental supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed
• Support front desk operations when needed, including scheduling and patient check-in/out

Qualifications

• Required: Dental Assistant certification in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
• X-ray certification required
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused
