DAYS: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays

Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using dental software systems such as Dentrix and Epic.
• Monitor and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
• Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
• Assist with endodontic procedures, ensuring all materials are prepared and available for use.
• Utilize 3D scanning technology for impressions when necessary.
• Provide support in managing patient flow and scheduling appointments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting, with knowledge of general dentistry practices.
• Familiarity with endodontics is a plus.
• Ability to perform vital sign assessments accurately.
• Experience with 3D scanners is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Certification in dental assisting or equivalent training is preferred.
