About Lake Havasu Dentistry

At Lake Havasu Dentistry, we are rewriting the script on what a dental visit feels like. Led by Dr. Ryan Kurtz, Dr. Christine Gonzalez, and Dr. Landon Allen, our large, advanced, multi-doctor practice is dedicated to relationship-driven care, exceptional patient comfort, and cutting-edge treatments-including our newly expanded implant, cosmetic, and sedation dentistry services.

Located in the heart of Lake Havasu City, our practice is high-volume, modern, and fast-paced. We believe that a world-class patient experience begins the second someone walks through our doors or calls our office. That's why we are looking for an energetic, highly organized, and detail-oriented Dental Front Office Receptionist to join our powerhouse administrative team.

The Role: What You'll Do

As the face and voice of Lake Havasu Dentistry, you will manage all aspects of the patient check-in and check-out workflow. This is a dynamic, high-visibility role in a bustling office that requires a sharp multitasking ability and a warm, compassionate attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Welcome & Check-In/Out: Greet patients warmly, manage digital patient forms, minimize wait times, and create an exceptional first and last impression.

  • High-Volume Phone & Schedule Management: Answer incoming calls efficiently, handle patient inquiries, and strategically schedule and confirm appointments to optimize daily doctor and hygiene production.

  • Treatment Coordinating Support: Present treatment plans seamlessly, answer basic scheduling questions, and conduct timely post-op calls to ensure top-tier clinical follow-through.

  • Insurance Verification & Claims: Run detailed, proactive insurance coverage checks prior to patient visits to ensure transparent pricing estimates and maximize patient benefits. Prepare, submit, and track dental claims.

  • Financial Operations: Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), process patient payments, collect co-pays chairside/at checkout, handle billing inquiries, and assist with daily financial balancing.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience working in a dental front office environment is highly preferred.

  • Insurance Savvy: Proven familiarity with dental insurance verification, tracking claims, and navigating insurance portals is a massive plus.

  • Fast-Paced Excellence: You thrive in a busy, multi-provider office setup, possess strong problem-solving skills, and can pivot quickly without losing your attention to detail.

  • Communication Superpower: You have a positive, professional, and empathetic phone presence, and you love working collaboratively with both the clinical and front office teams.

  • Tech-Fluent: Strong computer skills; experience with mainstream dental practice management software (such as Dentrix) is highly advantageous.

Why You'll Love It Here

We work hard, but we support each other like family. You'll be stepping into a lively, highly professional office environment equipped with advanced dental technology, where your work is valued, and your growth is supported by a stable, expanding practice.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 – $24.00/hr (negotiable based on your specific dental expertise) alongside a comprehensive benefits package and a rewarding Monthly Team Performance Bonus that lets you share in the office's collective success!
