POSITION TITLE: Desktop Support Specialist (Job Description)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED required.


• Technical training in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and practical experience.


• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.


• Additional entry-level IT certifications may be considered.


• Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with students, staff, administrators, and other members of the technology team.


• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to explain technical information to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.


• Excellent work ethic with the ability to multi-task, prioritize requests, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced school environment.


• Must possess a valid driver's license.

LOCATION: District Wide

STATUS: Full Time, 12 month
