DGM/GM - Packaging Development- Sites Lead PMD


 



  • Manage a team of packaging technologists, designers and technicians across manufacturing sites

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across different cross functional teams.

  • Drive & Co-ordinate & implement strategic projects meeting organization goal.

  • Support design & development of packaging solutions for third party collaborators.

  • Ensure all packaging activities and processes meet international quality and compliance standards.

  • Harmonization of materials

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to all manufacturing sites.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and hence environmental sustainability of packaging materials and processes.

  • Drive cost reduction initiatives across all packaging operations without compromising quality or compliance.

  • Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure sustainable and cost effective sourcing.

  • Lead the adoption of new technologies and practices that improve packaging efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

  • Advocate for and report on sustainability goals, achievements, and improvements.

  • Manage resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.

  • Track & Trace – Identify technologies and implement at sites.

  • Keeping all the sites always regulatory audit ready

  • Providing technical support to solve market complaints related to packaging  and implementing proper corrective and preventive actions


 


Qualifications and Experience



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.

  •  Minimum of 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector.

  •  Extensive knowledge of global pharmaceutical packaging regulations and standards.

  •  Experience in leading quality audits, compliance checks, cost management, leadership and communication
