Pay

  • $32 per hour (based on experience and certifications)
  • Bonus plan with variable compensation

What You’ll Do

As a Diesel Technician at Wiers, you’ll handle a variety of repair and maintenance work while continuing to build your skills.

  • Diagnose, evaluate, and repair major components on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
  • Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Complete electronic repairs and advanced engine diagnostics
  • Maintain quality standards and follow all safety protocols
  • Accurately document work and communicate with service advisors
  • Support team operations and help mentor newer technicians

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
  • At least 3 years of diesel technician experience
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work
  • Ability to perform repairs with little or no assistance

Preferred Experience

  • ASE certifications (PM, Brakes, Electrical, etc.)
  • Previous dealer or OEM experience/certifications
