Overview: The Die Cutter Operator is a great production based entry level role to learn about the print industry! You will be responsible for setting up and operating a digital finishing machine to produce label rolls.
Experience Requirements: This is an entry level role and does not require previous experience.
Shift available: Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm.
Training: TBD.
Pay: $15.00-$16.00/hour to start based on experience

What you'll do
- Inspect and examine printed products for accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects.
- Add laminate/UV/coating and foil or other decorative requested to printed materials.
- Set and maximize speed, register product to die cut, set a die cut to the proper depth and determine roll counts,
- Monitor printing and die cutting to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, adjusting as necessary.
- Clean and lubricate printing machines and components
- Monitor and control operation of equipment to assemble and finish products.
- Pack and label cartons and boxes of finished products.
- Inspect and examine printed products for accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Traits/Requirements:
- Detailed-Oriented and capable of following standard work instructions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to communicate and work with co-workers effectively.
Physical Demands:
- The employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and arms.
- The employee frequently uses hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- The employee is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds regularly, with or without assistance.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus to inspect materials and products.
- The employee must be able to safely work in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment.
