Description

Position Details:

·         Guide patients through dental treatment plans, helping them understand procedures, benefits, and next steps.

·         Coordinate scheduling, insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and financial arrangements.

·         Serve as the key connection between patients, dental providers, and support staff.

·         Monitor treatment plans and follow up with patients to encourage continuity of care.

·         Coordinate referrals, maintain patient records, and support efficient clinic operations.

·         Assist with direct dental services and community-based programs, including I-Smile at School.

Requirements

Qualifications:

·         Current Iowa Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification or licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.

·         Experience in a dental office, treatment coordination, dental assisting, or front office operations preferred.

·         Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and insurance processes.

·         Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

·         Ability to build positive relationships with patients, providers, and community partners.

·         Valid Iowa driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record required.
