New Horizons is a non-profit organization that has been supporting Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities in Lake Havasu City, AZ for almost 50 years. We pride ourselves in community integration with the support we provide through various programs, which include, eight residential settings, day programs, habilitation, and group supported employment. New Horizons is looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower individuals with lifelong disabilities to enjoy life by promoting abilities and respecting personal choice.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Responsibilities:

-Ensure that the daily needs of members are met, including personal hygiene, food preparation, house cleaning, shopping, and monitoring of health needs, including supervision of medication.

-Assists members with regularly accessing the community to take part in a variety of outings of participant's choosing.

-Ensures that individuals are treated with dignity and consideration at all times. Promotes and safeguards each participant's ability to make decisions and to freely exercise his or her rights.
