ASPIRUS ST. LUKE'S ADMINISTRATION BUILDING in Duluth, MN is seeking a DIRECTOR- CLINICS to join our CLINIC ADMINISTRATION team!

Salary Range: $51.37 - $82.18 Hourly
Schedule/Hours: DAY ONLY, 8 hours
Weekend Requirement: Generally No Weekends
FTE: FULL TIME, 1.0 FTE or 80 Hours Biweekly
Off Premise On-Call: Yes


The Director-Clinic Operations, under the direction of Vice President and with input from lead Physicians, is responsible for planning, developing, directing, evaluating and revising overall clinic operations; maintains contacts with professional resources, employees, employers and third party payors. The Director of Clinic Operations will serve as Dyad Partner with the Physician Dyad Leader to support growth and strategy within the service line(s) and integrate these services into the organization's overall plan for delivery care and services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Masters Degree in health or business related field.
  • Experience: Five (5) years of professional level management.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of the principles and methods of administration, supervision, management and financial management; diagnostic testing practices; environmental assessment techniques; epidemiology of occupational hazards; environmental toxicology; marketing strategies and techniques; direct sales. Ability to work collaboratively with providers; ability to assess needs of clients and to plan, develop, implement and evaluate programs to meet those needs; to communicate both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of individuals and groups in the Hospital, community and in business setting; to organize work, manage time and function independently; to positively represent St. Lukes Hospital throughout the area; to work successfully with other employees and departments; to supervise, plan, delegate and guide work in the department; to maintain records and prepare reports on a timely basis; to work within an established budget; to develop and administer contracts.

  • READING - Advanced: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints.
  • WRITING - Advanced: Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • SPEAKING - Advanced: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, top management, public groups, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Intermediate Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw or interpret bar graphs to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • REASONING ABILITY - Advanced Skills: Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
