Job Description

How will you make an impact in this role?

Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.


 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Review, Analysis and Reporting of AXP and Segment Balance Sheet. Ideate and implement data-driven business insights

  • Sustain enterprise-wide Balance Sheet health while remaining focused on efficiency and sustaining financial integrity for the company including ensuring timely research & clearance of BS reconciling items

  • GenAI enthusiast with hands on experience in utilizing it for problem solving

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders - Account Owners, Regulators and Entity/Segment Controllers

  • Pursue continuous improvement in execution, lead intelligent automation and monitor compliance with management policies.

  • Responsible for improving control environment by ensuring satisfactory audit experience and enhancing internal controls

  • Responsible for and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLA), internal guidelines, accounting policies and regulatory requirements

  • Support / participate in standardization and continuous improvement initiatives as well as other business partner initiatives.

  • Ensure controls & compliance with prevailing policies & procedures such as SOX, Process Risk Self-Assessment and support Statutory/Internal audits

  • Continuously challenge the Status Quo and seek opportunity for redesign/automate and support platform modernizations

  • Lead team of accounting professionals, coaching them on tactical and strategic execution, as well as professional leadership and development.

Qualifications

  • CA / CPA with 10+ years of validated experience or Postgraduate in Commerce with 8-10 years of experience or Graduate with 10-15 years of experience

  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style depending on the audience.

  • Strong collaborator who can work across the Enterprise to drive results while understanding and incorporating multiple viewpoints.

  • A proven leader who can energize and inspire a diverse team of professionals

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and hold firmly to a position, when appropriate, in a professional and respectful manner.

  • Ability to handle high pressure environment with ambitious deadlines while balancing long and short-term impacts and multiple priorities and customers.

  • Demonstrated effective strategic thought leadership skills and creativity, as well as strong analytical skills.

  • Understanding of financial statement & balance sheet reporting & analysis

  • Understanding of end to end AR/AP process flow, accounting & reconciliation

  • Ability to connect accounting & reporting

  • Knowledge of accounting guidelines

  • Knowledge of US GAAP/Local GAAP/IFRS (Reporting knowledge)

  • Analytical skills with the ability to undertake cause effect analysis
