Job Description

Roles & responsibilities

The KGS Finance & EPM Consulting practice partners closely with KPMG member firms (including KPMG US and KPMG UK) on large-scale finance transformation programs, helping CFO organizations modernize planning, forecasting, close, consolidation, reporting, and performance management capabilities.

Our rapidly growing EPM practice is a strategic priority area, focused on leveraging emerging technology and analytics to deliver value creation and cost reduction for our clients.

To support our ambitious growth agenda, we are seeking a Director in Finance & EPM practice to lead complex EPM programs, shape client executive relationships and drive practice growth.

  • Extensive experience leading large scale EPM transformations across Industries. 
  • Deep functional expertise across Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Consolidation, and Management Reporting processes. 
  • Proven experience implementing EPM platforms such as: 
    • Oracle EPM Cloud (EPBCS, FCCS, PBCS) 
    • SAP (Group Reporting, BPC, SAC) 
    • Anaplan, OneStream, or similar platforms 
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end EPM solution lifecycle, including strategy, design, mobilization, delivery, testing, and stabilization 

Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations Management

Leading large, multi-client EPM transformation engagements
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior finance leadership (CFO, FP&A Heads)
Owning EPM solution strategy, delivery excellence, and quality
Driving practice growth through pipeline shaping, solution development and talent leadership
Build a strong Data & AI capability – including people, process and tools that can enable to sell and deliver high value outcomes
Manage utilization of team under span – ensuring minimal necessary bench
Mentor teams, drive high performance culture.
 

Work experience

Leadership in Regulatory & Management Reporting (Must‑Have)

Extensive experience leading FP&A, Risk and Management Reporting functions for global Financial Services Client/s
Demonstrated experience managing these processes in an As-a-Service, managed services, or third‑party operations model.

 

Business Development Experience

Constantly seeking out opportunities to grow and expand depth and breadth of services to the client based on strong relationships and outstanding performance
Prior involvement in client pitches, solutioning, and Go-To-Market activities to support practice growth in the As-a-Service or managed services domain

 

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Engage regularly with Finance Transformation and EPM leadership, Business Heads, and C‑Suite stakeholders to drive performance, governance, and strategic priorities.
Act as a trusted advisor to the client on finance transformation and EPM.

 

Operations Leadership

Hands‑on experience managing large EPM engagements.
Expertise in daily operations oversight, governance management, quality, risk and compliance responsibilities and escalation resolution.
Cost and people management running a high performing team of highly performing services to clients

Qualifications

Candidate should have an MBA from recognized B-School or Professional qualification such as: CPA or CA. along with 17+ years of relevant work experience.
