Job Description
The Director of Graduate Programs in Education plays a key leadership role in the successful implementation of the College of Professional Studies' (CPS) vision for educational growth and innovation. In this role, the Director develops, assesses, and implements innovative graduate, certificate, and continuing education online learning initiatives aligned with the College's strategic plan. The Director is responsible for maintaining the quality of the education portfolio and providing instructional leadership to ensure an exceptional student experience and high levels of satisfaction with UNE Online.

More specifically, the Director oversees the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program, working collaboratively with faculty, subject matter experts, dissertation advisors, and doctoral students to support academic engagement, research development, dissertation completion, and scholarly publication. The Director also partners closely with the University of New England's Office of Research and Scholarship and the Institutional Review Board to ensure all doctoral research complies with University policies and procedures.

The Director oversees all aspects of graduate, certificate, and continuing education academic operations and is responsible for strategic enrollment planning, revenue projections, and program outcomes. Working closely with the Dean and senior leadership team, the Director fosters a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence.

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, non-tenure-track faculty appointment at the Assistant Teaching Professor rank, with an administrative appointment as Director of Graduate Programs in Education.
