What you will do:Essential Functions:
- Reporting to Chief Data & Analytics Officer, this role has overall responsibility for all Data Engineering functions including Data Delivery Roadmap and Project Ownership. Responsible for ensuring completeness, accuracy, consistency, and quality of all deliverables required for each project.
- Lead, Manage and Grow a team of Data Engineers to ensure a high level of performance and efficacy. Provide guidance to the team in key architectural design and development methodologies. Help set goals and measure progress of the team.
- Provide strategic leadership for the design, development, testing and delivery of large-scale data structures and pipelines and efficient Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) workflows.
- Lead development and production deployment of enterprise-level analytic data products (also potentially pilots and proof of concepts), determining appropriate design strategies and methodologies.
- Collaborate effectively with Data Science, Business Intelligence and Technology teams to define success metrics and road map.
- Impacts the business results, leading others in identifying and resolving complex technical, operational, and organizational problems. Sets priorities, allocates resources and develops plans for multiple related teams. Decisions are guided by the business strategy.
- Develop and manage the processes, controls, and technical solutions necessary for an effective Data Engineering function.
- Hands-on experience with Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, ETL tools (Informatica or SSIS), SQL Server.
- Strong leadership skills to move the team through a major change, initiative to drive change forward and identify solutions to potential obstacles.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Conforms with all corporate policies and procedures.
What you will need:
Education: Bachelor's Degree- Computer Science or equivalent, required; Master's Degree-Computer Science or equivalent , preferred.
Experience: 4-7 years- Direct management experience. in building out Data Solutions (using various technologies); More than 10 years- Successful leadership experience in rolling multi year initiatives and projects; More than 10 years- Experience with Data Warehousing and Software Development.
Salary: $160,000-$187,000
The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee’s work experience, their geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualifications.

This position is a full time salaried, exempt (non overtime eligible) position.
