Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Director of Operations to lead our manufacturing organization and drive operational excellence across the business. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the President, with responsibility for delivering high-quality outdoor furniture through efficient, safe, and scalable operations. Responsibilities:

  • Lead all operational functions including manufacturing, engineering, materials, logistics, warehouse, shipping, and maintenance
  • Drive production performance to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals
  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company growth
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure a strong culture of safety and quality (OSHA compliance)
  • Partner with leadership across Finance, HR, and Commerce teams
  • Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and operational metrics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or Business (with manufacturing experience)
  • 8–10+ years of leadership experience in metal fabrication or custom manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of welding, fabrication, and finishing processes (powder coating, galvanizing, e-coating)
  • Experience with SolidWorks (2023+), ERP/MRP systems (Sage 100 Preferred), and Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and drive results
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
