Position Overview
T2S Solutions is seeking a Director of Operations to join our team in Belcamp, MD to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that all processes and programs are aligned with the company's strategic goals. This role is critical in managing and optimizing the efficiency of our operations, including project management, customer delivery, production, and quality assurance. The Huntsville Director of Operations will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement operational strategies that meet the demands of our customers while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the COO, lead and manage all aspects of operations, including project management, customer delivery production, and quality assurance to meet company objectives and contractual requirements
- Integrate with the project teams and corporate operations to facilitate communication and work between the organizations
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's long-term goals and objectives
- Oversee the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and achieving financial targets
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality
- Work with contracts and legal to ensure all operations comply with applicable regulations, standards, and defense industry requirements, including maintaining high-quality standards
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing customer delivery team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability
- In conjunction with the COO, oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all operational aspects of defense projects, ensuring timelines and milestones are met
- Identify and mitigate risks related to operations, contracts, and programs. Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions
- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders, including government agencies, to ensure alignment and successful project execution
- In conjunction with the COO, lead the adoption and integration of new technologies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications
- Active US Secret security clearance required
- Bachelor�s degree in Business, Finance or related field and 8+ years of experience (advanced degree preferred)
- Experience with Corporate operations, plans, policy, process, and strategy and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Experience with Army Acquisition Center process, procedures, and DoD 5000.02.?
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, time-management, and follow-through
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to successfully work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, to including the ability to lead and work on multi-functional teams
