Title

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Director of Outbound Marketing is a strategic leader responsible for shaping our corporate narrative, amplifying brand awareness, and driving global demand for our advanced MRAM products

The Role

 

The Director of Outbound Marketing will lead all media relations, corporate communications, and outbound marketing campaigns, working closely with the executive, sales, and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the semiconductor landscape and a proven track record of translating complex technical capabilities into compelling value propositions for strategic decision-makers and engineers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Public Relations & Corporate Communications:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global PR strategy to elevate the company's profile as the premier provider of MRAM technologies.
  • Act as the primary liaison with industry analysts, technology journalists, and trade media to secure high-impact coverage.
  • Draft and manage all external communications, including press releases, media pitches, executive bylines, and crisis communication plans.
  • Secure and prepare executive leadership for speaking engagements, interviews, and industry panels.

Outbound Marketing & Demand Generation:

  • Design and execute targeted outbound marketing campaigns (email, webinars, direct mail, and digital advertising) to generate high-quality leads in key sectors such as aerospace, defense, and edge AI.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and broader teams on the creation of high-impact marketing collateral, including whitepapers, case studies, technical application notes, and product brochures.
  • Manage the company's presence at global tradeshows, technical conferences, and industry events, ensuring maximum ROI and brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with business development, Product Marketing, and Sales to create tailored pitch decks and sales enablement tools that align with current product roadmaps.

Team Leadership & Strategy:

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for PR and outbound marketing initiatives, utilizing data to optimize campaign performance.
  • Manage investment to facilitate all outbound marketing goals, align and collaborate with Product Marketing on spending priorities to achieve goals
  • Be a key decision maker in tradeshow activity to promote and increase Everspin awareness.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the entire organization to drive brand awareness and impact.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for PR and outbound marketing initiatives, utilizing data to optimize campaign performance.
  • Manage the PR and input to marketing budget, maximizing resource allocation for maximum market impact.
  • Be a key decision maker in tradeshow activity to promote and increase Everspin awareness.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of marketing and communications professionals, alongside managing external agency relationships.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 8-10+ years of progressive experience in public relations, corporate communications, and B2B outbound marketing.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in the semiconductor, deep tech, or electronic components industry is highly required. Familiarity with memory technologies (MRAM, NOR/NAND, SRAM, DRAM) and high-reliability markets (DoD, aerospace, edge computing) is a massive advantage.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill highly technical concepts into engaging market-facing content.
    • Strong established network of contacts within tech, business, and semiconductor trade media.
    • Expertise in utilizing CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Attributes: Strategic thinker, highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
